How to add a slider in x axis i want to show each quarter and year wise with slider
what is that sympol means how to i create this any one please help this.

First of all you need to make sure that this feature (Zoom silder) of visual is enabled.
Secondly, whether the slider zoom function is available or not has a lot to do with your current visual and the corresponding field type.
After my testing, different visual requirements for the field are different
1. For a bar chart, the X-axis needs to display the slider, and the date field on the X-axis needs to be in Date state (not in Date hierachy state).
When I set it to Date hierachy, the X-axis cannot be scaled using the slider.
There is no such restriction for line charts
The data type of the Date column on the X-axis can be used regardless of whether it is a Date hierachy state or a Date state.
So you need to test how well your visual accommodates this functionality and make sure that the X-axis data type and the status of the type settings are correct so that you can use the slider functionality in the X-axis!
