When I publish my Power BI dashboard using Report Server, a black border appears around the section of the pie chart or the bar in the bar chart that I click on. This didn't happen before, and everything works fine in Power BI Desktop. How can I prevent this black border from appearing?
Need your help. Thank you!
Hi,jean789 ,thanks for your concern about this issue.
Your answer is excellent!
And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
Hello,@KYSZD . I am glad to help you.
Actually jean789 has made a more comprehensive suggestion.
And after my test, after saving the report to the report server, the pie charts and bar charts are displayed correctly when clicking on a column.
You can try to disable the border function in vsiual.
Here are my test results.
It displays fine on the report server
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Carson Jian,

Hello,
Check Visual Interactions: Ensure that the visual interactions are set correctly. Sometimes, interactions between visuals can cause unexpected highlights.
Update Power BI Report Server: Make sure you are using the latest version of Power BI Report Server. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that might resolve this issue.
Formatting Pane: In Power BI Desktop, go to the formatting pane of the affected visual. Look for any border settings that might be enabled and disable them if necessary. Then, republish the report to the Report Server.
Custom Visuals: If you are using custom visuals, check if they have any specific settings related to borders or highlights. Sometimes, custom visuals can behave differently in Power BI Desktop and Report Server.
Clear Cache: Sometimes, clearing the browser cache can resolve display issues. Try clearing your browser cache and then reload the report.
Best Regards
jean789
