How a user can edit the report parameters in PBIRS

Hi,

Is there a way to edit the report parameters in PBIRS.

It all works in PBI Desktop and there is no option when  the report is published to PBIRS for a user to edit the parameter value.

Any suggestions please?

Hi @anandav ,

It is not supported in Power BI Report Server currently.

It is needed to change in Power BI Desktop and re-upload it.

And here is a similar idea you can vote up: Microsoft Idea  · Change parameter in Power BI Report Server.

Best Regards,

Icey

HI!

Request to let know what issue are you facing in PBIRS? The parameters are always visible as long as they are configured to be visible and also show up options for slections in they are bound to a dataset ! Are these not report parameters that you are talking about?

@KBO  Thanks for the reply.

URL parameters will  not work as the parameters are used in Power Query and there is no wau to access url parameters from Power Query.
