Header (distinct value) to be displayed in Paginated Report (Report Builder)

Hi,

 I need to display some name & id as a header.

We are allowing only one name to select from filter, when we display as header using text box or table or list, we are getting same values duplicated in multiple rows though only row to be expected.

Is there a way on this Paginated Report to display only one value as however I try same value getting repeated in multiple rows.

Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks much Binbin. I am new to this Report builder and tried all excepting this header option. I guess it works as a Section (Master Detail). It worked and thanks again for the steps.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please try below steps:

1.Open a report.

2. On the design surface, right-click the report, point to Insert, and then click Header or Footer

Note: The Header and Footer options appear only when a header or footer is not already part of the report.
