Filter Pane on Public Power BI Report

A colleague has create a report that I used to see the filter pane for.  He did not make any changes, though the filter pane is completely missing now (not collapsed, actually missing completely)   I cannot see any option to show/hide the pane.  How do I reset the filter pane so that it shows up again?
