Excel Pivot Table with SSAS fails to refresh

Hi Everyone!

 

I have create a excel report with an Analysis Services database source. This workbook is published in my Power BI subscription but the data refresh fails.

The same source is used for a dashboard in the same subscription and data refresh works fine. The OnPremise Data Gateway is ok.

Any ideas why the Excel workbook with pivot table not refresh?

    Could you provide the refresh failure error message?

    Is the data source name in the Excel report the same as that which is listed in the Gateway.  It has to be exactly the same.  Perhaps compare the data source details of the report that is working with the one that is failing.
