Hi All,
Summary:
When trying to upload .pbix reports to our PowerBI version 1.2.6648.38132(March 2018), we get this error, "There was an error uploading your .pbix file. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file."
What we're doing:
I have a PowerBI report server set up with custom authentication (Per these instructions plus some changes our developers made) on the same server as an SSRS Report server.
We're trying to pull the PowerBI report server off the SSRS Report server on our Production environment to match Test. I installed Powerbi(New) with the same installation file as PowerBI(old). Both show version 1.2.6648.38132 (March release).
We have custom authentication applied on PowerBI(Old) but not yet on PowerBI(New).
Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks.
This is your chance to engage directly with the engineering team behind Fabric and Power BI. Share your experiences and shape the future.
