Hello Power BI Community,
I hope this message finds you all in good spirits. I am currently working on a project where I am attempting to embed a paginated report with subreports built on Report Builder into Power BI Desktop.
While I've successfully embedded the main report, I am facing challenges with drill-through on the subreports. The subreports do not redirect within the embedded environment.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance from the community on resolving this issue. If anyone has experience embedding paginated reports with subreports in Power BI Desktop, your insights would be invaluable.
Additionally, if there are alternative approaches or best practices for achieving similar results, I am open to exploring those options as well.
Thank you in advance for your time and expertise. I look forward to your insights and suggestions.

Hi @datajunkie_29 ,
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Check Subreport Configuration:
- Ensure that the subreports are properly configured in the Report Builder with the correct parameters for drill-through.
- Verify that the subreports are accessible and functioning correctly when run independently.
Test in Power BI Service:
- Test the drill-through functionality in the Power BI service to ensure that it is not an issue with the Power BI Desktop environment.
