Hi all,
I need to embed Power BI Report Server Report inside a Site using IIS web pages ASP.NET Web Forms.
After initial investigation, checking below option is only valid for Paginated Reports RDL
In order for an SSRS report to be successfully rendered in a web application,
the web page must make use of the rsweb:ReportViewer element which references the assembly file Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms.dll.
There are several ways that you can go about installing this assembly file, NuGet package.
I decided to use an iframe, however I have several doubts how to apply security to my iframe
STEP 1 - ADD Identity Impersonate = True en el Web.config
<configuration>
<system.web>
<identity impersonate="true" />
</system.web>
</configuration>
STEP 2 - ADD into Application Tool my Active Directory user with permissions to open Power Bi Report inside Powerbi Report Server.
Is it this best option?
Any security or config recommendation, my PBI RS is configured with AD default security option
Regards
Hi @dpombal I want to show a Power BI report in a web application hosted on IIS server. The report has AD security with one user having read access. I need to run my application with the same user account on IIS. How do we configure IIS. Need a detailed explanation please.
Thanks
Maybe this helps you I didn't manage it to work
