Hi, does the Report Server support custom connectors now?
When I use Desktop version 2021.1 to save report to the Report Server, an error is reported.
An error occurred while attempting to save the report to Power BI Report Server.

This is true, Report Server only supports a small number of the more common data sources like the popular relational databases for Direct Query. But this is a known, documented product limitation - you could try posting a request on https://ideas.powerbi.com for this functionality to be expanded for your specific datasource.
No, I don't believe it does. There is a list of the supported data sources here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources
Thanks for your reply.
I have already connect a new data source in Power BI Desktop using a custom odbc connector that supports DirectQuery. If the Report Server does not support custom connectors, how can new data source be used in Report Server and use DirectQuery like Oracle Database?

So there is a huge list of supported data connectors in the link I posted and both ODBC and Oracle are on that list. You don't need to build custom connectors to connect to either of those types of data sources.
Thanks.
