Do we need to install different gateway for different servers?

I have used the data from different servers in many of my reports. I have even installed the gatway for the connection. But is it possible to use the same gateway for all of my servers

yes, a gateway can serve many different connection requests.  Of course you want to make sure your gateway machines are up to the task (lots of RAM, lots of processors, lots of disk space).  One of the limiting factors is the gateway management page - it gets really sluggish if you have more than 150 connections.

you can install a gateway on any server, desktop or laptop, as long as it is always on. If each department has servers for their day to day use and some of these are under utilised, consider whether installing the gateway on these would impact perfromance of the server or the gateway.
