Direct query and import

Hi, I'm making reports in the server version of PowerBI desktop.   when i want to make sure i'm using Direct Query it seems that, if i'm using a new tabel, (For example a measure table) the server...

    Yes this is by design. The on-prem Power BI Report Server does not currently support composite models, so your entire model has to be in either direct query mode or in import mode. You cannot choose the mode per table.
