Data Lake Monitoring Activity Operation Name Definitions

Hi there,

This isnt a direct Power BI query, but wondered if anyone can help.

I have created a monitoring log in Azure to monitor data lake activities. I have connected to the log file to create a power bi report (showing things like total operations, files created, data lake access, file access, user activity etc.)

I noticed there are a list of data lake operations with names I am not sure on their definition and wondered if anyone can define them for me?

The list of operation types are:

• Lease File
• Flush File
• Read File
• Delete File

I havent been able to find any documentation so wondered if anyone could advice what these operations are (in particular the first two which I am unsure on)?
