Dashboard wont be refreshed when computer is offline

My dashboard was not refreshed when my computer is offline. Is there anyway the dashboard can be automatically refreshed when my computer is offline?

Hi, @maryfree86

You need to keep your computer turned on (sleeping/disconnecting will cause the meter to not refresh properly).

First, you need to have On-premises Data Gateway Standard Edition (Enterprise Edition):

Power BI Gateway | Microsoft Power BI

Configure your gateway correctly:

Install an on-premises data gateway | Microsoft Learn

Connect to your on-premises data source in Power BI service via the gateway:

Add or remove a gateway data source - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If you want to be able to keep your dashboard refreshing while your computer is offline, move your data to a cloud data source. For better integration with Power BI, you can consider cloud data sources like SharePoint, Azure SQL Server, etc.

@maryfree86 You need to install a data gateway on a machine that is always on.
