Custom Authentication with DB installed on Other Server

Hi ,

Can anyone please throw some light on below :

Will the below architecture work

1) Power BI Report Server on Server A

2) Database (SSAS Tabular) on Server B

3) Custom Authenication will be implemented (https://github.com/Microsoft/Reporting-Services/tree/master/CustomSecuritySample)

for power bi report Server

Please let me know if anyone has implemented a similar architecture
