Dataflows are not part of Power BI Report Server. You could edit the query for the table which you have selected using "Get Data". This will only be part of this dashboard, so you have to do it many times for different dashboards.

You could copy the dashboard if you want to reuse your work and not to start from scratch.

Alternatively you can use views in the database.

Hello

Yes, you may use Power BI Report Server to generate Power BI Dataflows. But the procedure is a little different from Power BI Service. The Dataflows must be created using Power Query Online or Power BI Desktop, and then they must be published to your Power BI Report Server. The steps to begin going are as follows:

Use Power Query Online or Power BI Desktop to author your dataflows.
After the Dataflows are produced, publish them to your Power BI Report Server.
You may manage and update your dataflows in Power BI Report Server as needed.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you require any additional help or have any questions at any point!

Dataflows are a feature available only in the Power BI service and cannot be created or managed within Power BI Report Server.

However, if you have existing dataflows in the Power BI service that you would like to leverage in Power BI Report Server, you have a few options:

  1. Direct Query: If the underlying data sources of your dataflows are accessible from Power BI Report Server, you can use Direct Query mode to connect directly to those data sources from your Power BI reports in Power BI Report Server. This allows you to query the data in real-time without needing to import it into a dataflow.

  2. Import Data: Alternatively, you can export the data from your existing dataflows in the Power BI service and import it into Power BI Report Server as datasets. This involves exporting the data from the Power BI service and importing it into your on-premises data sources or using Power BI Desktop to import the data into datasets that can be published to Power BI Report Server.

  3. Consider Future Updates: Keep an eye on updates and announcements from Microsoft regarding Power BI Report Server. While dataflows may not be supported currently, future updates or enhancements may introduce new features or capabilities that allow for similar functionality within Power BI Report Server.
