Hi all,
I created a dataset, with Power BI Desktop, that was published to the Power BI Service. My Power BI Report Builder reports access it as a data source.
For a Power BI Report Builder report that has a matrix/table report, I'm able to set interactive sorting for each column of the report. In Cognos one can do this too. Also, in Cognos, one can summarize, group, and filter on each column of a table/matrix. Is this possible in Power BI Report Builder? I don't think so. I've researched on the web and there was some broad information stating that some Cognos functionality is not available in Power BI Report Builder. But it was not specific to what I was looking for.
Thanks, Mike.

For Paginated reports it is not possible during "interactive" time (there you can only sort columns). It possible only during developer design time. Reason is easy, Paginated report are static, not interactive.
But in Interactive Power BI reports is possible most of them during interactive time (sorting, filtering, slicing, and drill-up/down, up/down detail levels, and so on), and much more in user-friendly report modification.

Hey josef78, thanks for the clarifying answer. I appreciate it. As I originally said, I researched on this but really couldn't find a definite answer. This helps me out quite a bit. Regardz, mrivney.
