Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for sharing the solution , so the cause of the issue is the lower version of  report server. It's better that you can mark your reply as answer so that  the others with the same issue would find it more quickly.

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

Hi @Anonymous,

Did you use the desktop optimized for RS ? Have you ever try to upload file directly in Report server instead of saving report to rs in desktop? If the issue is stilling existing, I suggest to change the service account for rs as mentioned in https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/Error-when-deploying-a-report-to-Power-BI-Report-Server-October/m-p/302956/highlight/true#M2226

Dear Dedmon Dai, thank you in advance for your thoughtful response. The problem was simply an update on the Report Server. This done, the issue was solved.

Thanks a lot

that doesn't sound good. Do you have a recent backup of the PBIX file?  If you don't have Incremental Refresh data sources then you can re-download the PBIX file from the Power BI Service (in the Dataset section)
