Connections Test fails connecting SQL Server DB but Report runs allright (DirectQuery/Rel. Aug.18)

Hey folks,

 

strange behavior on Report Server while connecting SQL Server DB by Direct Query mode.  [Release August 18]

 

While connection test within datasource menu of the Report Server fails the report itself is running allright. :smileysurprised:

 

Can anybody reproduce that as well and may let me know why that occurs...

      it does.

       

      Thank you, but unfortunately the August 18 release does not solve the problem for me, unlike others posting in the mentioned thread....

        Hi Andreas,

         

        Ahh - sorry to hear it did not solve the issue. Long shot, but clearing your web browser cache doesn't solve the issue?

         

        (outdated browser cache has caused all sorts of issues following our upgrade to August 2018)
