Helper IConnection String Window Greyed out and wont' let me edit it.

In different connection modes, we may get the ability to edit the connection string or not:
According to my tests, in the January version of Report Server, when we use SQL as the data source, we are not able to edit the connection string of the report, as you can see from the following image:
We also saw in the May release that we can't edit the connection string:
Currently, you can update the connection string for SQL using PowerShell via the official documentation:
Change data source connection strings with PowerShell - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
This method requires you to be proficient in using Power shell commands and then practice it.
In addition, you can republish a PBIX file with a new connection string to Report Server through the Power BI desktop RS release.

Helper IThanks, but the Powershell doesn't seem to work either as the WARNING: No XSRF Token detected! This might be due to XSRF token disabled. on the first line you try. The only place you can edit connection strings is in a shared data source. Its crazy to think you have to go into Power BI and then the datasource and then save it back to the server for each report. This is very time consumming expecially with 3 environments.
