Compressing excel file for Export in Report Server
Hello, I have a file size limit in our email configuration and my file keep growing. Is there an option to compress large excel files in Report Server or RDL so that emailing can be easier using RD...
The Excel files should already have compression applied. I do not believe there are any settings to increase the amount of compression. You might need to look at using a different transport mechanism such as putting the files in a file share.
I have resolved this. I embedded this as a link in sharepoint and shared the link with Users. It runs well now.
