Changing a data source after publishing to PowerBI Report Server

We have setup a PowerBI Report Server. We would like to change the data source to use a service account. Can this be done on the Report Server?

Thanks,

LarryO

Hi @larryortega,

Do you mean change data source credential? You can go to Manage page of the report, then go to Data Sources tab.

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of the process. We were getting errors when trying to change the service account used in the data source. As it turns out, the GPO in place restricts impersonation. We have put it in the special AD group for SSAS and SSRS servers. That should resolve this.
