Changed service account - not working

Using Report server configuration manager, service account was changed from "virtual account" selected during initial configuration to a domain account. Change applied successfully (as per config manager tool). SPN is registered with new domain account. VM restarted.

However, rsreportserver.config file still references old service account name here:

<URLReservations>
<Application>
<Name>ReportServerWebService</Name>
<VirtualDirectory>ReportServer</VirtualDirectory>

Is this normal?

Is this even a supported scenario? I suppose it is, since it's allowed in the management tool. But still it's weird why account is not updated.
