Change the gateway

Question

Hi&nbsp;I created a power bi report on my notebook and published it using my gateway. since the users started using it, I would like to move the gateway to a server. the issue is I can't remember the recovery key.&nbsp;1. Is there a way to recover the key?2. How can I change the report data gateway?thank you

If by gateway you mean the ReportServer. You can migrate the DB though if you haven't got much deployed. It can be simpler to spin up a new server and just redeploy all the reports

Migration of PBI-SSRS is the same as regaulr SSRS (Native mode) so

Watch out as you will also need to move the encryption keys
