Cannot Publish report to powerBI report server after update Januari 2018

Hello all,

today we have installed the Januari 2019 update for the PowerBI ReportServer.

immediately after the update, we have the following issue:

When we try to publish a dashboard(.pbix file) we get the folowing error:

We tried to safe the file localy and upload after that in the browser.

we get this error:

Is there a fix for this? and are more people having this issue?

Make sure you have both the desktop software(report server version) & the report server. If you have the latest desktop version, the icon should be different from what it was before.

I have found the solution.

there was a problem during the upgrade with report server.

i already instaled the new desktop rs version but the server version itself was not upgraded corectly

after that i did a new upgrade of powerbi report server and it work now.

When i download an old report and reupload it it works fine like it should be,

only reports from the new januari release powerbi desktop RS wont work
