Hello!
I have a problem with connect to my Azure Postgres. When I try connect to DB I see error: "Не удалось обновить учетные данные источников данных: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Could not load file or assembly 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'"
Also, some information. I have already managed to connect this Database to another PowerBi account. The database and that old account were registered on the same organization domain. I thought that this might be the case and tried to create a new database on the domain where I have now created a new PowerBI account, however I am seeing the exact same error.
Help me, please!
"I am also facing the same issue. Someone mentioned that engineers are working on cloud connections, but I have been experiencing this issue for a long time. Currently, I refresh the data in Power BI Desktop and publish it daily.
Someone told me that we should see the OAuth2 option in the authentication method, but I am unable to see it. I only see the Basic option. Can anyone please help me?"
My data source is PostgreSQL, and it's cloud-based
you see same error? Now this problem are solved, my connection are working again
Which DB provider you using?
Hi, @badkor3434 and @jost and @Givi
Here's what you can do to alleviate the current problem:
reusing an existing shared Cloud connection to connect to PostgreSQL, creating and sharing cloud data sources in the Power BI service, creating a new connection in Dataflows and using this new connection while connecting to PostgreSQL, and creating a connection using a Data Gateway.

or you mean I need try local gate way?
Hi, bro! I was try work with Data Flow. I created new WorkSpace in my Power BI online it's ok - I see data in this space. But when I try create reports in Power BI desktop - I don't see data
Hi, @badkor3434
I create a dataflow and immediately connect to it in Power BI desktop, again without showing the data:
You'll need to refresh this dataflow in the Power BI service before connecting it in Power BI desktop:

Yes, now it's clear, it's working, thank you. But it's working just if I do manual refresh. When I try setup auto refresh I see same problem when I was setup Virtual Gateway
Hi, @badkor3434
Engineers are working on a fix for scheduled refreshes of Azure Postgres, and you can temporarily replace it with manual refreshes.

Ok, thanks. When engineers fix that?
Hi, @badkor3434 and @jhh-cphd
At the moment, the team is testing the solution, and you need to be patient and trust that it will be back to work soon.

Hi, @badkor3434
Your current questions is a known issue and engineers are currently working on a Can't connect to DB Azure Postgres issue. If there is any progress on a fix for this issue, I will update you here.

We are having the same issue with two of our clients data pipelines, major outage stopping company operations.
Can we please have an update??
Dear @v-jianpeng-msft ,
Thank you for your answers.
Do you have an estimated timeline for when the issue might be resolved?
Kind regards,
Jon
Are you aware how urgent this is? Nobody can change or activate refresh policys in semantic models for postgresql connections. This is insane!
This is not Report Server related, right?
