Can not Login in Desktop App for Report Server

Hi,

we have a PBI RS (on prem) running in the company and now i want to login on my local PC in the PBI RS (for Desktop) app. This fails. Why?

I can hit the URL for the Report Server and can login there successfully but as i said, on my local maschine everything fails. 

What is the way of authentication? Local (Desktop App) -> PB Report Server -> AD? 

The error message says that the connection was terminated and i should contact an it-admin.

@Anonymous : Are you running the PBI RS (On-prem) locally on your PC?

No, the PBI RS (On.prem) is running within the company on a server.

On my locally PC runs the PBI RS Desktop App.

Are you using Power BI Account to sign into Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server)?

Which version are you using?

Could you sign into normal Power BI Desktop successfully?

And there may be times when you attempt to sign in to Power BI Desktop but run into errors. There are two primary reasons for sign-in trouble: Proxy Authentication errors and Non-HTTPS URL redirect errors.
