Hello,
I've spent the last 4-5 hours trying everything I can think of this figure this out. Microsoft documentation states that Power BI Report Server is available with a Power BI Premium license. So I purchased the Premium Per User license, since I'm the only person who needs it. However, when I download the Power BI Report Server, it asked for a product key.
Documentation on how to find your product key points back to the "Capacity Options" inside Power BI. I don't have that though, since I purchased PPU.
Adding insult to injury, clicking "Buy Now" on the Power BI Report Server website sends you to a purchase page for Power BI Pro ($10/mo). So, at this point I'm out of words. Is it $10/mo? $20/mo? or $4995/mo? I wish I could afford the latter (long from it), but I don’t see why I should have to when the documentation states I need a premium subscription (not a premium capacity).
If I can't use the report server with the $20/mo subscription to 1 Premium Per User license, are there any open source options that you may know of?

For Power BI Report Server on production enviroment you have two licencing options:
-Buy SQL Server Enterprise Edition with SA (miminum for 4core)
-or Buy Power BI Premium per capacity (minimum is P1 with 8core dedicated in cloud + 8core for PBI RS).
For evaluating you can use 1 month free of SQL Server EE
For testing and development you can use SQL Server Developer Edition (is free)
Hi. What is less clear for me is how many servers you can use this key for? I've tried searching online but it is not very clear
