Hi DanielBlack76,

 

In Power BI report server, for Power BI reports, custom connector is not supported. All supported data sources are listed here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources

 

For SSRS reports, we can custom data processing extensions, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-data/data-sources-supported-by-reporting-services-ssrs

    Are there any plans to support Custom Connectors in Power BI Report Server?
    Only lately, custom connectors were officially supported in Personal Gateway and On Premise gateway for Power BI Service.

    It's 2024, does microsoft supports Power BI Report Server, through custom connectors now ? If no, what is the way to refresh report in Power BI Report Server from an unsupported data source ?
