HI there.
I have read the posted articles regarding this topic but none of the troubleshooting tips have worked. I'm exporting from a report, one of the visuals and the Excel/CSV is blank. I have tried several things to remedy.
- Different browsers
- settings in PBI desktop and PBI server to allow exporting of summarized data
This blankness is happening on all 4 tabs of the report and all the visuals within.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there.
I was able to resolve on my own. The issue appeared to be within Excel and not PBI. It seems as though there was a pivot table somewhere that I couldn't see. When I click on Report Layout -> Show in Tabular Form on Excel's design tab, something happened and all of a sudden I could see the pivot table fields . I closed Excel and tried the export again from the top. Now I can see the exported data without having to do any pivot table steps.
Hi, @FOXYBARK
If you export data for a live connection model, then you need to enter the relevant credentials. You can refer to the following case with the same issue:

At the same time you can see if you fall within the current limitations of the exported Excel:

Thank you. THis does not help me as I've already read this very same article. Thanks anyway.
Hi, @FOXYBARK
Can you describe to me your steps to reproduce the current issue? In my tests, I was able to export data from visuals from Report Server and Power BI Service as expected.
Is your current issue limited to the current report or is all of your reports affected? This can help you determine if there may be a problem with the design of your current report, if your other reports don't have this problem.
