Hello,
We have set-up PowerBI Report Server to use AD for authentication and RLS in the tabular cubes. The users of the AD are two types: users created in the AD and users from other DCs where we have a delegated trusted relationship.
All fine regarding functionality, thus both types of users get validated ok, and RLS works well.
However we are coming across a serious issue in terms of performance for users with delegated relationship in the AD, since it takes 4-5 seconds extra for any single action the users do. Something does not happen to the local users. Just moving from one folder to other takes ages.
It seems for every single action the users carry out in PBRS, PBRS goes to the AD to check the users settings over and over again, or something is happening in the background we do not understand.
How can we address this issue?
Is there any way for PBRS not to check out constantly any action the user is doing? Out understanding is that when the user logs on, PBRS gets all the info from the AD about the user and there is no need for constant checking with the AD
Thanks a lot for your support
