Azure VM - Power BI Server - SQL Server Enterprise edition with SA

Team,

Can we spin up a virtual machine (VM SQL Server Enterprise Edition with SA) on Azure?

Can we install Power BI Report Server on this?

Do we need to go with a premium cap lic if want to host on Azure VM?

I would say your best bet is to discuss this with your Microsoft rep. They will guide you based on how you intend to use Power BI Report Server on Azure VM.

If a forum member responds saying it is allowed, I wouldn't consider that as a confirmation from Microsoft. It is always best to have license related discussions with your Microsoft account representative directly.
