Auto-refresh not working for connection to Excel Workbook in organisational Sharepoint folder.

Hi

 

I'm trying to auto-refresh a report with an Excel Workbook data source stored in my organisations Sharepoint.

 

I get the error message:

The report is stored on my orginisation's Power BI Report Centre (on-premise).

 

The data source is connected to power query using the following m language:

 

I can refresh the report from Power BI Desktop, but not from the report centre.

 

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

    Your report server has to reach the internet to do the refresh. Are you sure that the server is able to connect to the internet?

      Thanks for your message.

       

      I'm connected to the internet and I can refresh the report from Power BI Desktop after I connect to the Sharepoint Excel Workbook via the organizational log in option: 

      But I cannot refresh the report from Power BI Report Centre (Report Server), because there is no organizational log in option:

       

      And (as mentioned above) the other log in options give me the error message:

       

      I don't think Power BI Report Server / Power BI Report Centre supports organizational log in authentification at the moment. So I can't auto-refresh and I have to open the report in Desktop to refresh the data manually.
