Authentication PBI RS Desktop

Hi,

if I am in the intranet with my Power BI Report Server and i want to login on my local machine in PBI RS Desktop, how does it work? Is it using LDAP (port 389) against the active directory or what is the default?

The default authentication mechanism for PBIRS is NTLM. So it goes against AD, I'm not aware of the specific port that it uses.

Thank you. I guess the port is dynamic. NTLM ist just a protocol.
