Alignment of an image

In Power BI Report Builder I have an item that is an image versus text.  The Alignment properties are not available for the image as they are for text.  The image by default is right aligned.  How do I center an image without the alignment properties?

Thank You,

Richard

Hi @rstephan,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

In Power BI Report Builder, the image report item does not have its own horizontal alignment property like a textbox does. Looks like this is expected behavior, so to center the image the alignment must be controlled by the container that holds the image. Please follow below steps:

  • Insert the image inside a rectangle cell and then resize the rectangle wider than the image. Position the image within the rectangle as required or use the image sizing property and set the image to CenterImage.
  • If the image is inside a tablix cell then select the tablix cell that contains the image and set the cell text align property to center and increase the cell width if required.
