Hi @wesen,
In Power BI desktop optimized for report server version, get data from SQL database in DirectQuery mode, you can create a measure use aggregation functions, eg: SUM, Count, then publish the report to Power BI report server.

Thank you!
Hi @wesen,
Based on my research, manage aggregation feature isn't supported in Power BI report server yet. Please post a idea here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

Hi,
I might as well ask in this thread: Any news on this. I read that aggregations now are "generally available" from https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2019-feature-summary/.
I cannot find any clear answer or any Power BI Ideas asking for this either so I just wanted to see if you have any more info.
Unfortunately there has been no change in this area. The Aggregation feature is still only supported in the cloud service and is not available in Report Server.
