2017 october update report server: Is it possible to automate Scheduled refresh?

Hi all,

Scheduled refresh functionality is given in Report server's October 2017 update. 

So in scheduled refresh tab I am able to set scheduled refresh plan for upto 1 minute. 

My Data Source type is MySQL.

I have set scheduled refresher for 1 min. So after 1 min I am able to get updated data form MySQL. 

But for this I need to click on Refresh Now button or on report I need to click on Refresh button. then and then only my data gets updated on all visuals.

So my question is it possible to automate this scheduler refresh activity?

Like whenever MySQL data gets refreshed after 1 min then automatically it gets reflected on all visuals without clicking on refresh button?

You can create a refresh schedule that will refresh the data every minute. Getting the visuals to update on an already open report will not happen automatically without clicking the refresh button the report or refreshing the page. If you need the visuals to get updated automatically, one option could be embed the power bi report page through an iframe in your custom html page and in your html page add a timer that refreshes the entire page periodically.
