Select menu column/measure options, what do they mean?

When editing my alert, the following part looks slightly different every time:

EwoutVisionBI_0-1712932235590.png

sometimes I have one selection to make, sometimes two or three. What do each of the selections mean, and what is the effect of it?

I'm asking because I made 7 similar alerts (based on almost identical visuals/just the measure is different), and some work as expected and others do not. My main issue is that not all high temperatures from the source data are recognized, usually only 80-90%.

Background: I'm looking at the maximum oven temperature for each oven that a batch is processed in. Every time the batch maximum temperature exceeds a threshold, the trigger should be activated.

Hi @EwoutVisionBI ,

The number of drop-down boxes in this section varies depending on what you selected in the drop-down box above.

And about this drop down box:

First it will ask you to choose whether it is a column from an event or a property:

For more information on what properties are you can check out this section of the documentation
As far as a column from an event is concerned, it's the specific columns, measures, etc. that are present in the visual object you're creating Reflex for.

If you select an Existing property, there is generally only one drop-down box below to choose to switch to a different Existing property:

If you select a column, then it will ask you to select which column or measure and the scope of that column or measure.

At this point, the two drop-down boxes below correspond to the second level of selection (columns or measures) and the third level of selection (scopes) that you made previously.

Its main role is to create properties for the Reflex, for example, which property's value does the Reflex you create need to detect? And what are the conditions for the Reflex to be triggered?

Thank you Dino, but which is the property of the two/three? How can we know what each Select individually means?
I know about Detect, I'm only asking about the different dropdowns under Select part.
