Hello,
I have my reflex item and/or trigger created & started, however, no email?? What's missing? Recipient list provided, trigger started & email mandated completed.
I send an email regarding the topics you raised. We need additional information from you to figure out what is the underlying the issue here.
Attaching detail found from my SQL query
@Anonymous The event happened again with no email. The timestamp provided in the test email is generated from the reflex component. My SQL script catches the error with the right times, and it appears the application picks up the event with a timestamp that is completely off - but does nothing to send out a communication. (Although test alert renders a successful message based on all save points.) Can you advise anything on this as the application is not working as intended?
Regarding email content, if the verbiage included in fields such as "Optional message" can be inserted into the HTML email message wouldn't just providing the html tags be allowed?
Re: Email content, you can change the "Subject", "Headline" and "Optional message". Soon, you will be able to define properties and include those in the email body as well. For example, if you are alerting someone about a delivery truck, you can create a property called "Odometer reading" and include that in the alert email by selecting it from the "Additional information" drop down.
The report errored out at 630 am cst. Not sure why the timestamp reads as it does.
Actually in process of providing the image which claims to have a successful transmission.
Did you get the email for the test alert?
The only thing that I can think of is the timing difference between when the trigger was started and when the matched event was send to Data Activator. Whether it was before or after. We can try leaving the trigger and check if it does not send out an alert email for the next event that matches your condition. How soon do you think you will get an event for which an alert email should be sent?
Is the "Send me a test alert" button (highlighted below) active? If so, can you click on it and see if you get a test email alert?
Also, was your trigger running before 22:00 (which is when the last data that matched your condition came into DA)?
Morning @Anonymous ,
Any detail you can provide on this?
In addition to my issue of no generated email after a valid established event, what is the character length maximum for email body? Can HTML script be included without exceeding any field length constraints?
