I am using Data Activator in Sharepoint to trigger alerts tied to a PowerBI visual. Previously, there was a custom actions option to tie the trigger to a Power Automate Flow. I had this linked and has been running for a few weeks now. Recently, I have noticed that the custom actions button is gone in Data Activator. Will my Power Automate flow still execute when a trigger is reached?
Within Data Activator, the custom action used to be selectable in the "Act" section.
I had followed how to set it up initially here: Use custom actions to trigger Power Automate flows - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Typically, my alert only triggers a couple times a week, so I need to know if it will still function if this option has now disappeared. I am also trying to set up a new flow that runs whenever a Data Activator trigger fires, but the tile for that no longer exists in Power Automate and the Custom Actions feature is gone in Data Activator.
Hi @skulkarni16 ,
What do you mean by "the custom actions button is gone"? On my side, I have tested that the button still exists and functions correctly:
On this side, since I didn't set it up on the Power Automate side, the button shows gray, but its still there.
Alternatively, you can try "Send me a test alert" to see if the Trigger is working properly.

My UI used to look like yours, but all of a sudden it looks like this now. The custom actions button is missing for me.
Hi @skulkarni16 ,
After my testing, there is no setting in Data Activator to disable or disable this feature. Considering that custom actions are related to Power Automate, maybe you can check if the account you're using has some permissions turned off in Power Automate?
