Real-Time Dashboard continuous refresh no longer refreshes faster than 10 seconds
- 2 months ago
Hi Borna,
Sorry to hear the issue persists.
Since you've already verified the Live Refresh settings and are still experiencing different refresh behavior after the recent update, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support. When creating the support ticket, please include the screenshots and the troubleshooting steps you've already performed, along with details about the recent Live Refresh changes and the behavior you're observing. This will help the support team investigate whether the behavior is expected or if further investigation is required.
You can create a Microsoft Fabric support ticket here:

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
Hi Borna,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community forum.
Could you verify the dashboard's Refresh settings (Manage > Refresh settings > Live refresh)?
- Refresh rate limit – Sets the minimum time interval between refreshes when new data is ingested.
- Fallback refresh interval – Controls how often visuals that don't support ingestion detection or use unsupported data sources are refreshed.
- Manual refresh only – Ensure this option isn't enabled.
Visuals that support ingestion detection refresh when new data is detected, while unsupported visuals rely on the configured Fallback refresh interval. This may help explain why some visuals are refreshing every 30 seconds instead of immediately when new data arrives. Could you confirm your current Refresh rate limit and Fallback refresh interval settings, and whether all affected visuals support ingestion detection?
For reference, the Live Refresh settings are shown below:

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
Hello,
First of all thanks for quick response, refresh is currently set like this:
This is what I'm talking about, refresh rate limit is st to 10 sec and fixed rate to 30 sec, i can't go below that. Last week I could go and set refresh rate to continuous and everything was refreshing at maximum intervals of 10 sec (not 30).
Those are settings I lost and can't access it anymore.
