Environmental Compliance Scorecard Water Protection Projects by Region

This Power BI QuickViz shows how well water-protection projects comply with environmental standards across world regions. I used a single horizontal bar chart (the required visual) with descending sort and background “compliance bands” (Low <60%, Moderate 60–74%, High 75–89%, Very High ≥90%) to make thresholds instantly readable. Bars are white with bold, in-bar labels from a DAX measure (Region Compliance Label), while a second measure drives conditional colors for status. Navigation uses a centered-carousel made with bookmarks to reveal five simple steps—from base chart to final scorecard—so viewers can learn the build process. A responsive HTML note card (one DAX measure) explains intent, highlights leaders (Europe 96%, North America 92%) and the 38-point gap vs. Middle East (58%), and suggests actions to lift Low/Moderate regions above 75%. The design follows a “clean and minimal” theme to keep the focus on insight, not decoration.
