Hi,
I am trying to access a csv file on a website, but I get "Access is forbidden" message in powerbi.
The weblink to the csv in the browser works fine.
Any help?
Hi @JoeBarry ,
Thanks for your response.
Yes the link is public: https://www.dnb.no/portalfront/datafiles/miscellaneous/csv/kursliste_over_EN.csv?_=1693227901701
Hi @Anonymous
I face the same issue. I tried with a few CSV download possibilities, but i get the same error message.
Can I offer an alternative? I use https://exchangerate.host/ You can download a whole year at a time and I refresh automatically on a daily basis to get the new rates. It is a very accurate rate. Do some spot checks on a date against a specific currency.
You can add or remove currencies that you don't need. To add just know the 3 character currency code.
What I done was create a dataflow. I created a query for every year up to 2030. Then I appended all queries into one. I unticked Enabled on the other queries and then saved the dataflow and scheduled a daily refresh at the end of each day. I then imported this table into Power Bi using the Dataflow connector.
Thanks
Joe
