I have a SQL Server 2016 on premise database and was able to successfully make a connection using a local gateway. However, when I am in Power Apps Desktop, I click New and then select my SQL connection and I receive the error "The data did no load correctly. Please try again. Session ID: d67fef36-9d7d-f0cd-ae27-9f66c86e55b3." Any idea what might be wrong? The status on my connection says Connected.
Hi @mcb,
Could you please post a screenshot about that how you connect to SQL Server 2016 database? We need to verify that if you connect to SQL Server from Power Apps or Power BI Desktop. If you are using Power Apps, please post the question in the Power Apps forum to get dedicated support.
However, if you connect to SQL Server from Power BI Desktop, please follow the instructions in this blog to connect it and check if it is successful.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
