split out department from choice column

I have a multi choice column where users can enter all the departments that are important to their project. but, when made a slicer, it gives me entries of multiple departments as 1 item. How can I ...

    Hi nerdyplayer ,

    Consider adding delimiters when combining text:

    = Table.TransformColumns(#"Extracted Date", {"DEPARTMENT", each Text.Combine(List.Transform(_, Text.From),","), type text})

     Next you can split it by ",":
