salesforce service cloud invalid token w both PQuery and PBI desktop

Hi all,

Im trying to connect to Salesforce Service CLoud  Sandbox with no luck. I get the error "Service has returned invalid token".

I have the latest PBI desktop and Excel Query installed.

I've also tried to make the registry changes mentioned here.

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/92811d44-1165-4da2-96e7-20dc99bdf718/can-power-query-be-updated-to-use-tls-version-12?forum=powerquery

Has anyone been able to query data from Service CLoud (objects or reports)? Should there be some specific setting done in the Salesforce end to enable data connection? I have atm ordinary user license. And should be able to query data as an ordinary user.

EDIT: also tried to add own IP to allowed list without luck.
