report updates through on-premises gateway

Hi,

I have created report inPower Bi Desktop and published it to Power Bi online Service.

I used Live Pin to create dashboards. I have installed on-premise gateway and added all source files (mostly CSV and Excel files) to the gateway that I have used in report. Could you please confirm that this setup will provide me with automatic update or will I have to schedule it?

Also how often report and dashbords are going to be updated in this setup?
