queries with a shared excel online

Hi everyone,

 

I got an issue when i try de integrate a shared excel online table as a source for queries.

I'm currently working with Pbi files where queries have for sources an excel online sheet.

 

But these excel online sheets are not mine, but the owner shared them with me.

 

 

I think that PBi is not able to recognize the orgnization of my drive (cf photo) , what do you think about it ?

    HediSlim,

    Do you get issues or error message when you connect to the Excel file in Power BI? I test the scenario as yours, everything works well when I connect to a Excel file which is shared with me in Power BI Desktop.

    In your scenario, please make sure you follow the instructions in this official article to connect to Excel file on OneDrive for business.
