M3 Mac desktop ; actually there are two things going on(I tried installing mysql on VM as well, could not)
BUT priority is... if i can connect Power BI which is on VM(parallells) to my sql (which is installed on Mac)
(unable to connect)

You cannot directly connect with Power BI from a MAC. You do have to have parallels. AND, you have to have Power BI Desktop installed ON the parallels Virtual Machine that you have created. So, have you installed PBI on the VM? If so, what is the error you are getting from that machine when trying to connect?

i have installed power bi on parallels... but mysql in macM3 deskyop
Server=localhost or my mac name?
or ip address ..I got technical support from parallels, he tried changing (127.0.0.1 to ip address)
Error is :unable to connect

I do not know how a parallels connection to a host MAC works but this link shows how to connect to a MySQL database.
