power bi enterprise gateway setup
When setting up the gateway how should it be installed to use a Service account and does this account have to be setup with a Power BI license?
Yes the account you use need to have a Power BI Pro license. Plus it needs to be an admin on that machine.
rayishome Log in to Power BI with the gateway account. In the Power BI Service, you click on settings (the wheel in the header on top right hand side) -> Manage Gateways -> Click on Administrators -> add additional users
I don't think there are any restrictions on what AD account you use as long as it has a Power BI license.

Thanks, after setting up the gatway to run under a service account, how can another account view and manage the Gatway in the Portal. What security permission are needed? Also, is there a way to setup the Gateway to run as a service account without having to login with the account that will be used as the service account. IE an Admin logs in and installs, but configures the gateway to under under another service account.
